The compact, modular design of Kinco's K6S Series PLCs is streamlined to save more than 50% of the horizontal installation space of the KS Series. The wiring can be tightened without tools, making the installation and maintenance process simple, quick, and efficient.  The powerful core integrates high-speed input/output, Ethernet, CAN, RS485 and other conventional functional interfaces, further improving flexibility, reliability, and performance.   • The new MCU platform offers improved execution speed and provides a program storage space of 8K instructions and a data storage space of 20KB (V area + M area), allowing for the implementation of complex control programs.

  • A standard 10/100M Ethernet port is included, supporting Modbus TCP Client/Server and Modbus UDP industrial bus protocols. This feature offers ease of use and robust performance, making it adaptable to a wider range of applications.

  • The CAN interface supports the CANopen master function, enabling connection of up to 64 slave stations. Each slave station allows a maximum of 8 TPDOs and 8 RPDOs, with error control methods like node protection and heartbeat. It is compatible with the Kinco motion control protocol, providing simple positioning control commands. Users can easily connect Kinco servo and drive systems via the CAN bus, with support for up to 16 nodes through the protocol.

  • Features an integrated real-time clock (RTC), 4 high-speed pulse outputs (all channels supporting PTO/PWM modes), 4 high-speed counting inputs (supporting single/dual phase and AB quadrature counting modes), 1 Ethernet interface, and 2 RS485 interfaces. Both CAN and RS485 come with built-in isolation.

  • Supports array functions, allowing the use of up to 16 arrays, each with a capacity of up to 1024 elements. These elements can be any data type supported by the K series PLC. Arrays can be used for functions like maximum, minimum, average, and sorting, and can also expand data storage capacity.

  • Supports the stack function, with up to 2 stacks and a capacity of 1024 elements per stack, using any data type supported by the K series PLC. The stack function serves various needs and further expands data storage capacity.

  • A modular plug-in design reduces installation space by over 50%, supporting up to 16 expansion modules on the right side. The diverse module options give users more flexible and tailored solutions.

  • KincoBuilder software offers easy-to-use motion control instructions and includes a guidance feature for a user-friendly experience, enabling quick configuration and efficient programming with minimal learning curve.
